Terms of Use

Last updated: October 19, 2026

These terms govern your use of cowboysvsorcs.com (the "site"), run by the developers of Cowboys vs Orcs ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The game itself is sold and governed separately through Steam.

Using the site

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

Intellectual property

The site and everything on it, including the name, logo, artwork, characters, music, sound effects, and code, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. All rights are reserved. You may share links to the site and use screenshots or short clips for news, reviews, and commentary. Any other use needs our written permission.

Third-party services

The site links to services we do not control, such as Steam and Discord. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what the site does and does not collect.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for your device. The teaser draws thousands of animated orcs and plays sound, so it may run slowly on older hardware. The orc count is for fun and is not an accurate measure of anything.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to the site and these terms

We may change or remove parts of the site at any time. We may also update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developers are based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any mandatory consumer rights you have in your own country.
